Tailpipe coatings for the OEM market

Ceramic coating of tailpipes and finishers has been successfully utilised by multiple OEMs to protect rear bumpers and delicate trim from excess heat.

Ultimate Range™ – We have developed a number of coating options specifically for use on exhaust tailpipes, tail-trims and exhaust pipe finishers. These coatings have been developed to provide durable and attractive finishes that are resistant to heat, corrosion, staining, and stone chips – making them ideal for both OEM and aftermarket applications where life and durability are essential.

The range has been formulated to withstand the temperature of hot exhaust gas, with some options providing a thermal barrier to protect surrounding bodywork and trim from heat.

We offer a choice of surface finish and a wide choice of colours to suit specific projects, with coatings ranging from our plasma-sprayed ceramics through to high temperature liquid ceramic paint finishes.

In addition to our Ultimate Range™ we are able to offer:

  • Diamond Black™ – A black/grey ceramic coating that is designed to provide an attractive yet extremely tough and durable finish that is exceptionally hard wearing and highly resistant to stone chipping and other forms of mechanical damage. As a thermal barrier coating it is able to protect surrounding components and trim from the impact of heat. It is ideally suited for exposed areas, where aesthetics are important, and where physical damage might be a problem.
  • Performance Range™ – This is an extension of our range of black/grey plasma-sprayed ceramic exhaust coatings. It is designed to provide an attractive yet extremely tough and durable finish that is exceptionally hard wearing and highly resistant to stone chipping and other forms of mechanical damage. As a thermal barrier coating it is able to protect surrounding components and trim from the impact of heat. It is ideally suited for exposed areas, where aesthetics are important, and where physical damage might be a problem.
