Zircotec has been a trusted supplier to Formula 1 and Le Man teams for more than a  decade, with the technique now widely used across both professional and enthusiast motorsport formula. Coating exhaust manifolds can significantly improve engine performance (especially for turbo engines) as well as protecting under bonnet components and making pit stops faster, easier and safer. In the cabin, drivers are cooler so more able to concentrate and the need for airflow can be reduced.

The latest technical development, a coating system for carbon composites, has already been proven at Le Mans, and is now widely used on body panels, heatshields and the rear low level aerofoil, where the carbon component can suffer from heat and erosion from exhaust gasses. The Zircotec coating protects the composite, is resistant to local impacts and maintains the lightweight and aerodynamic profile of the base component.
